To obtain the CCC certification, it's essential to have a general understanding of the 3C certification product catalog. Only products listed in the catalog require the 3C certification; those not within the scope of the 3C certification catalog do not need the CCC certification.
Stage 1: Application Receipt. Upon receiving a compliant application, CQC sends an acceptance notification to the applicant, instructing them to submit or send relevant documents and materials. The application stage becomes 1. Concurrently, CQC dispatches information regarding fees and notifications. The applicant shall provide the requested materials to CQC. After payment, please fill out the payment receipt as requested.
Stage 2: Material Inspection. During the material inspection phase, the product certification engineer must categorize the units for suspension. After categorization, if the need for sample testing is halted, the product certification engineer will send the sample dispatch notice and the corresponding payment notice to the applicant. Additionally, the applicant is notified to send a sample acceptance notice to the relevant testing agency.
Stage 3: Sample Acceptance for Sample Submission. The applicant shall deliver the sample directly to the testing institution. Upon payment, please fill out the payment voucher as requested. The testing institution will cease accepting the received samples, fill out the sample acceptance report, and issue a sample rectification notice for any non-compliant samples. After rectification, fill out the sample acceptance report.
After sample acceptance, the testing agency fills out the sample testing progress form and submits it to CQC. Upon receiving the sample testing progress, CQC, after confirming that the applicant's related fees have been paid in full, issues an official acceptance notice to the applicant and a testing task letter to the testing agency, marking the formal commencement of sample testing.
Stage 4: Sample Testing. During the sample testing process, applicants should cease corrections for any discrepancies in presentation as per the sample testing rectification notice. After the sample testing is complete, the testing agency fills out the sample testing results notification. The testing agency will also send the experimental report and other materials to the CQC.
Stage 5: Factory Inspection. In case of an application to halt the factory inspection due to demand, the inspection department will organize the halt of the factory inspection.
Stage 6: Qualification Assessment. Once the product certification engineers cease collecting and organizing the results from all stages, the preliminary assessment is halted. The qualification assessors then proceed to a second review of the aforementioned results.
Stage 7: Certificate Approval. Director issues certificate.
Stage 8: Certificate Printing, Collection, Dispatch, and Management. Applicants print the certificate collection slip and pick up the certificate themselves or request it to be sent.
