    Product Introduction

    This product can indirectly heat or cool paste, granular, powdered, and slurry materials, and can perform unit operations such as drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction, and low-temperature combustion. The equipment features special wedge-shaped impeller blades for heat transfer with high thermal efficiency and self-cleaning surface.

    Operating Principle
    The hollow shaft is densely arranged with trapezoidal hollow vanes, where the heat medium flows through the vanes via the hollow shaft. The unit effective volume has a large heat transfer area, with the temperature of the heat medium ranging from -40℃ to 320℃, which can be steam or liquid types such as hot water or thermal oil. Indirect conduction heating is used without the heat being carried away by air, ensuring all the heat is used for heating the material. The heat loss is solely due to the heat dissipated through the insulating layer of the vessel. The trapezoidal vanes have an automatic self-cleaning feature. The relative motion between the material particles and the trapezoidal surface creates a cleaning action, effectively removing material deposits on the surface, maintaining a clean heat transfer area during operation. The shell of the vanes dryer is in the shape of an Ω, typically accommodating two to four hollow mixing shafts within the shell. The shell is equipped with sealed end caps and an upper cover to prevent the leakage of material dust and to ensure optimal performance.
    The heat transfer medium flows through the rotating joint, the shell jacket, and the hollow mixing shaft. The hollow mixing shaft features different internal structures depending on the type of heat transfer medium to ensure effective heat transfer.

    Performance Features

    Low energy consumption of slurry leaf dryer: Due to indirect heating, no large amount of air is carried away with the heat, and the outer wall of the dryer is insulated. For slurry materials, evaporation of 1kg of water only requires 1.2kg of steam.
    Low-cost slurry leaf dryer system: With a large heat transfer surface per unit effective volume, it shortens processing time and reduces the size of the equipment. This greatly minimizes the building area and space.
    Wide range of material processing: Utilizes various thermal media to handle both heat-sensitive materials and those requiring high-temperature treatment. Common media include steam, thermal oil, hot water, and cooling water. Both continuous and intermittent operations are possible, applicable in many fields.
    Low environmental pollution: No air-borne particles or dust material carried; very minimal. The solvent evaporation of materials is small, easy to handle. For materials with pollution or situations requiring solvent recovery, closed-loop circulation can be adopted.
    Low operational costs: Structure with minimal wear and low maintenance expenses.
    Stable Operation: Due to the unique compression-expansion mixing action of the wedge-shaped paddle blades, the material particles are fully in contact with the heat transfer surface. Within the axial zone, the temperature, humidity, and mixing gradient of the material are very low, ensuring the stability of the process.
    Material-compatible
    The浆叶drying machine has been successfully used in food, chemical, petrochemical, dye, and industrial sludge fields. Its heat transfer, cooling, and stirring characteristics enable it to perform the following unit operations: combustion (low temperature), cooling, drying (solvent recovery), heating (melting), reaction, and sterilization. The impeller blades, which also serve as heat transfer surfaces, increase the heat transfer area per unit effective volume, shortening processing time. The wedge-shaped impeller blades also have an automatic self-cleaning function. The compression-expansion stirring function ensures uniform mixing of materials. Materials move axially in a "piston flow," with minimal gradients in temperature, humidity, and mixing degree within the axial zone. The浆叶drying machine, using thermal oil as the heat medium, can complete low-temperature combustion work, such as the combustion of calcium sulfate dihydrate (Ca2SO4·2H2O) into half-water calcium sulfate (Ca2SO4·1/2H2O). Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) is calcined into soda ash (Na2CO3), etc. Cooling can be achieved by introducing cooling media such as water or cooling brine. For example, the impeller-type cooling machine used in the soda ash industry replaces the outdated air-cooled cooling machines, saving energy and tail gas treatment equipment, and reducing operating costs. Drying is the main function of the equipment, which does not use hot air, making solvent recovery, energy consumption, and environmental control easily manageable in an ideal state. It is particularly suitable for materials that need solvent recovery, are flammable, oxidizable, or thermosensitive. It has been widely used in the fine chemical, petrochemical, and dye industries. The uniformity of temperature, humidity, and mixing degree within the axial zone allows the equipment to be used for heating or melting, or for some solid material reactions. It has been successfully used in the compound fertilizer and modified starch industries. The浆叶drying machine can be used for sterilization treatment of food and flour. The large heating area per unit effective volume quickly heats the material to the sterilization temperature, avoiding changes in material quality due to prolonged heating.
