Wood Drying Machine Introduction
The wet material is conveyed to the hopper by a belt conveyor or a bucket elevator, then it enters the feeding end through the feeding pipe of the hopper feeder. The slope of the feeding pipe must be greater than the natural angle of repose of the material to ensure smooth flow into the dryer. The dryer is a rotating cylindrical drum slightly inclined from the horizontal line. Material is added from the higher end, with the heat carrier flowing in parallel with the material into the drum. As the drum rotates, the material is moved by gravity to the lower end. During its forward movement within the drum, the wet material is directly or indirectly heated by the heat carrier, allowing it to dry. It is then discharged from the feeding end via a belt conveyor or a screw conveyor. Scrapers are mounted on the inner wall of the drum, which function to lift and scatter the material, increasing the contact surface with the airflow to enhance the drying rate and promote material movement. The heat carrier is typically hot air, flue gas, etc. After passing through the dryer, it usually requires a cyclone separator to collect the material carried by the gas. To further reduce the dust content in the exhaust gas, it should pass through a bag filter or a wet scrubber before being emitted.

2. Utilizing a downstream drying method, flue gas and wet material enter the dryer from the same side, allowing for a high evaporation intensity with the use of high-temperature flue gas, resulting in a low exit temperature from the dryer.
3. Utilizing a disassembling device, feeding device, discharge device, and cyclone dust removal device, we have effectively eliminated issues such as clogging, discontinuity, uneven feeding, and backflow in the dryer, thereby reducing the load on the dust removal system.
4. The dryer employs a "centering-type support wheel assembly," ensuring linear contact between the support wheel and the roller ring, thereby significantly reducing wear and power loss.
5. Features an open gear drive mechanism, offering advantages such as a reasonable structure, easy operation, long service life, and convenient maintenance.
During the drying production process, most operations are in a downstream manner, with the main characteristics including:
1. At the hot end of the dryer, there is a significant temperature difference between the material and the hot gas, leading to a rapid heat exchange process. A large amount of moisture is easily evaporated, making it suitable for materials with a high initial moisture content.
2. After sticky materials enter the dryer, due to the easy evaporation of surface moisture, adhesion can be reduced, facilitating material movement. When used for drying wet coal, it can prevent direct contact of high-temperature gas with dry coal, thereby avoiding ignition.
3. The hot end vacuum in the downstream operation is low, which can reduce the air leakage into the drying process, thus benefiting the stability of the temperature and flow rate of the hot gas inside the drying machine.
4. The feeding and coal supply are both set at the hot end of the dryer, making the workshop layout more convenient.
5. The dryer discharge temperature for downstream operation is low, usually transportable by a belt conveyor.
