Model Description:
According to GB/T 7253-1987 and JB 9681-1999 standards (old models):
XP - Ordinary disc-shaped suspension ceramic insulator;
XWP - Anti pollution disc-shaped suspension ceramic insulator;
XHP - Anti pollution disc-shaped suspension ceramic insulator for bell jar umbrella;
XMP - Grass hat type pollution resistant disc-shaped suspension ceramic insulator;
The numbers 1, 2, 3... are the design sequence numbers;
The number after "-" represents the rated mechanical and electrical damage load value, kN;
The C after the kN value is the groove type connection structure, and T is the ball and socket cap flat foot connection structure. The ball and socket connection structure is not represented.
GB/T 7253-2005 standard specifies (new model):
U - Suspension insulator;
The number after U represents the specified electromechanical or mechanical failure load value, kN;
B or C represents a ball or groove connection;
S or L represents the height of short or long structures, M represents medium length, and EL represents ultra long;
P represents a large climbing distance.
Note: The naming method for insulator codes in the bidding documents of State Grid Corporation of China is as follows
Example: 1 U70B/146: U - suspension type, 70kN, B - ball and socket type connection, ordinary type, 146- structural height;
2. U100BP/155D: U - Suspended, 100kN, B - Ball and socket connection, P - Anti fouling type, 155- Structural height, D - Double umbrella;
3. U160BP/170T: U - Suspended, 160kN, B - Ball and socket connection, P - Anti fouling type, 170- Structural height, T - Triple umbrella;
4. U70C (N)/200: U-suspension, 70kN, C-groove connection, CN tension type, ground wire insulator.
