Product Introduction

Crude Oil Desulfurizer, primarily an oil-soluble heterocyclic compound, is used for chemically removing hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans from natural gas, crude oil, and fuel oils. It undergoes an irreversible reaction with hydrogen sulfide, with a rapid reaction rate, and increasing temperature aids in the removal of mercaptans. The desulfurization of crude oil is to reduce the production of sulfides like sulfites during storage and processing, thereby minimizing corrosion to equipment. Sulfur in crude oil exists as hydrogen sulfide or elemental sulfur; at this point, a strong oxidizing agent can be added to remove the sulfur content. Adding too much or encountering high temperatures can easily lead to fires.
