Mechanism of Action
SMCF Fluoride Removal Agent is an independently developed product by Shennmei Technology. It works by utilizing the high positive charge density and moderate polymerization degree of its effective components, which facilitate rapid complexation with F- ions in wastewater, forming stable complexes. Simultaneously, the decrease in positive charge density accelerates the aggregation and precipitation of the complexes, converting free fluoride into particulate fluoride. Through the bridging and capturing effects of high molecular weight flocculants, rapid separation of sludge and water is achieved. The aluminum iron composite salts form colloidal particles in water, with a large specific surface area, positive charge, and high Zeta potential. Due to the small radius and strong electronegativity of fluoride ions, the flocs exhibit strong adsorption for fluoride ions, causing a decrease in Zeta potential, instability of the flocs, and subsequent settling, thereby achieving the goal of fluoride removal from wastewater.

Usage Instructions
Directly pump the defluorination agent; first dissolve the solid in a dissolver to form a solution of approximately 10% concentration (by weight), and then pump it into the reaction tank. For high-concentration fluorine-containing wastewater, combining with calcium salt treatment yields better results. The dosage of the defluorination agent should be adjusted appropriately based on the on-site conditions and small-scale test plans. The equipment for dissolution, storage, and dosing facilities should be made of corrosion-resistant or anti-corrosion materials.
