Polyferric sulfate is a superior inorganic polymer coagulant, with the Chinese chemical name being "polyferric sulfate." Its solid polyferric sulfate form (abbreviated as SPFS) is a pale yellow, amorphous, powdered solid that is easily soluble in water. A 10% (by weight) aqueous solution is a reddish-brown transparent solution with hygroscopic properties. Polyferric sulfate is widely used in the purification treatment of drinking water, industrial water, various industrial wastewater, urban sewage, and sludge dewatering.
Aggregate ferric sulfate applications: A new type of inorganic high molecular weight flocculant, mainly used for excellent water purification, with good water quality, free of harmful substances such as aluminum, chlorine, and heavy metal ions, and without transfer of iron ions. It is non-toxic, harmless, and safe. It has significant effects in removing turbidity, decolorization, deoiling, dehydration, sterilization, deodorization, algae removal, and the elimination of COD, BOD, and heavy metal ions in water. It is also used in industrial wastewater treatment, such as dyeing and printing wastewater, and has wide applications in foundry, papermaking, leather production, etc.
In the treatment of rare earth industrial wastewater with ferric sulfate polymer: For instance, the device keeps the tiny solid particles in wastewater and the surface of high-concentration ion membranes at a consistent distance, significantly reducing the chance for harmful substances to contaminate the membrane surface. Ferric sulfate polymer improves water recycling. This process not only separates and enriches high-concentration ammonium chloride from the wastewater of rare earth extraction processes, recycles wastewater after the rare earth industry standard, and revives a successful hydrochloric acid and ammonia water reactor through electrolysis and solar energy, but also reduces the recovery of raw materials in the rare earth industry. Additionally, it involves the use of fuel cells to recover energy, with the cost of treating a large volume of wastewater at 40 yuan per ton, totaling 1600 tons per day, containing 100g/L of ammonium chloride. Through this process, a generation of hydrochloric acid and ammonia water can achieve a profit of 110,000 yuan.
