Absorbents, also known as adsorbents, are substances that allow active ingredients to adhere to their particle surfaces, converting liquid trace compound additives into solid compounds, facilitating uniform mixing. They are solid materials capable of effectively adsorbing certain components from gases or liquids. They possess a large specific surface area, suitable pore structure, and surface characteristics; exhibit strong adsorption capacity for adsorbates; generally do not react chemically with adsorbates and the medium; are easy to manufacture and regenerate; and have excellent adsorption and mechanical properties.
