Finned radiators are a widely used heat exchange equipment in gas and liquid heat exchangers, which enhance heat transfer by adding fins to a standard base tube.
Base pipe can be made of steel pipe; stainless steel pipe; copper pipe, etc.
The fins can also be made of steel strip; stainless steel, copper, aluminum strips, etc.
Finned tubes added to heat exchangers to increase the surface area for heat exchange can all be categorized as "finned tube radiators."
Fin-tube radiatorAccording to the structure of fins, they can be divided into: helical finned; longitudinal finned; welded finned; rolled finned. Common materials include steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and so on.
Finned radiators currently widely used are steel-aluminum finned tubes (wound steel-aluminum composite finned tubes, rolled steel-aluminum composite finned tubes). They leverage the pressure resistance of steel and the thermal conductivity of aluminum, combined on a machine. Their contact thermal resistance is almost zero under working conditions of 210°C.
