Coal Preparation Plant Loading Area Sweeper Installation Case

Recently, the coal selection plant's loading workshop installed a sweeper on the side below the 701H sampling point, completely resolving the issue of coal falling into the lower conveyor belt after sampling and causing a tri-partition plate failure, thus avoiding damage to the machine head. Heavy load startups can cause significant damage to the motor, reducer, and coupling.

Since the Coal Quality Department installed the sampling machine, the factory's loading bay has been plagued by unexpected shutdowns of the belt conveyor. The guardrails on both sides of the sampling machine are severely worn, causing coal to frequently fall into the lower belt of the belt conveyor during the sampling process, leading to sudden stops in the belt conveyor's operation and reducing loading efficiency.

To completely address this issue, the workshop supervisor Yuan Yun and the maintenance worker came up with various methods, hoping to deal with it from the sampling machine, but the results were unsatisfactory. After multiple on-site analyses and summaries, they decided to install a cleaner below the coal side of the sampling machine. As soon as coal falls off the lower conveyor belt, the sampling machine will automatically clean itself, completely resolving the problem. This not only improves the efficiency of material feeding but also reduces the workload of the on-site workers.

"In the past, this was the part of the vehicle we focused on during loading. The three-in-one flip action was all too common, and we had to immediately put down our work and rush to the front of the vehicle to start it up, which was quite a headache. With the additional sweeper, we no longer have to worry about downtime affecting loading time. As it turns out, solving problems is always harder than facing difficulties," reflected Han Pei, the workshop worker.
