The sweeper plays a non-negligible role on the conveyor belt, efficiently and quickly removing residual material stuck to the belt, preventing it from being returned to the return branch. This avoids the accumulation of dirt on the increase roller and return roller, which can lead to belt wear and misalignment. It also eliminates the risk of injury from manually removing debris. 1. Scraper sweeper

The scraper cleaner operates by utilizing the force of gravity from the counterweight or the elastic force from the arm架 to ensure the scraper, fixed to the arm架, makes a tight contact with the working surface of the conveyor belt, thereby removing any remaining material. It can be categorized into single, double, or multiple scraper designs based on the number of scrapers. The scraper materials include rubber, hard alloy, and ceramic.

2. Rotating sweeper

The rotary sweeper consists of a main shaft driven independently and fitted with hard bristles or scraper blades. The bristles are made of nylon or similar materials, while the scraper blades are made from rubber plates or hard alloy.

The rotary sweeper rotates at a high speed in the opposite direction to the conveyor belt (the linear speed of the brush or scraper is not less than 10m/s). In addition to directly sweeping the conveyor belt, the brush or scraper also creates a low-pressure zone in front due to its high speed, thereby enhancing the cleaning effect.

This sweeper is commonly installed at the head and tail drums of conveyors to sweep powdery and granular materials.
