How Does a Battery-Powered Sweeper Work?
Brush sweepers used for cleaning conveyor belts are generally divided into two types: electric brush sweepers, also known as active brush sweepers, and mechanical brush sweepers, also referred to as non-powered sweepers.
Both sweepers utilize brushes to remove debris from the belt. Thanks to the characteristics of the bristles, they offer high cleaning intensity with a soft touch, allowing for thorough cleaning in hard-to-reach areas without damaging the belt.
The sweeping machine is powered by an electric motor.Self-Propelled SweeperHow does it work?
The solution is simple. The drive sweeper is powered by the friction between the driven roller and the belt, which is secured by a connecting device. As the belt operates, the friction causes the drive roller and belt to rotate. Then, the drive arm moves the brush roller, which rotates in the opposite direction to the belt's movement, effectively cleaning the material adhered to the return belt.
This invention is applicable to various types of belts, featuring minimal wear and tear. It operates safely and reliably with a low failure rate and extended lifespan. Maintenance costs are also low, making it widely used in industries such as coal mining, metallurgy, construction materials, conveyors, coal conveyors, belt conveyors, thermal power plants, and food processing.
