Potential issues with the sweeper in use

Belt sweeper cleaning insufficient; sweepers installed in some areas are causing many issues.Safety accidents often reveal that a cleaning point is equipped with 7-8 sweepers, but the actual cleaning effect is poor. After installing sweepers in some areas, the belt joints have cracked, leading to overall belt tearing issues. These problems are caused by the following factors:

1. Incorrect sweeper selection

2. Incorrect sweeper installation location

3. Sweep head is not wear-resistant

The so-called selection errors primarily involve not conducting targeted sweeping brush selection based on specific mining and industrial conditions. Issues such as the use of mechanical joints on conveyor belts that cannot accommodate alloy sweepers; the requirement for V-belt to use drum-type sweepers; and polyurethane blades being suitable only for one-way belt sweeping, among others. Additionally, the use of polyurethane sweepers in the second-stage sweepers fails to meet the sweeping effect.
