详情描述
EDM Graphite (Electrical Discharge Machining) is primarily used for processing complex and finely detailed parts, such as punches, dies, male and female molds, fixed plates, and ejector plates for stamping molds. It's also employed in the production of metal electrodes for forming, templates, and EDM shaping, as well as for various micro-holes, narrow slots, and arbitrary curves. It boasts advantages such as minimal machining allowance, high precision, and is prominent in production and manufacturing. It has been widely applied in production, and currently, EDM wire-cutting machines account for over 60% of the total number of electrical machining machines both domestically and internationally.
Electrical discharge machining (EDM) operates on the principle of removing material from a workpiece surface by using the high temperature produced when an electrode and the workpiece are energized by sparks. It is suitable for machining hard, conductive workpieces. Numerically controlled EDM shaping machines are a typical example of EDM.
EDM is the popular fourth processing method after turning, grinding, and milling. Compared to traditional copper electrodes, EDM utilizes isostatic graphite, offering such advantages:
The price of the same volume of graphite is just 25% of that for copper electrodes.
Graphite processing speed is 3-5 times that of copper electrode processing, with a smooth surface finish.
High processing accuracy, easy to polish.
Graphite has a bulk density only 1/5 that of copper electrodes, making it more suitable for large electrode production.
As an electrode for electrical discharge machining, its consumption is only 1/3 to 1/5 of copper electrodes, and the decomposition of the spark oil compensates for the electrode wear by covering the carbide.

Standard Dimensions: 120*310*470mm
Application: Suitable for ultra-precision machining that requires advanced accuracy, low consumption in edge parts, and fine processing characteristics; this is of high grade.
Excellent machining properties and ultra-high precision EDM surface finish; these dual characteristics are found in Tokai's HK-6. It further expands the processing possibilities of graphite.
