Common Issues and Usage Precautions for Low-Temperature Constant Temperature Water Baths

1. Temperature Unstable: The machine requires self-tuning. Press and hold the left shift key to display "AT" at the top of the screen and "OFF" at the bottom. Press the up shift key to change "OFF" to "ON," then press the SET key to exit. The self-tuning process takes a long time, usually around 20-30 minutes. If the self-tuning process does not end after a long time, turn off the machine, restart it, and perform self-tuning again.

2. Temperature keeps dropping and cannot maintain a constant level: usually due to a damaged heating tube. After turning off the refrigeration, set the machine's temperature to high (15 degrees higher than the tank temperature is sufficient). If the OUT gauge's indicator light does not stay lit, it is initially suspected that there is a fault in the temperature control system.

3. Leak in Low-Temperature Tank: The low-temperature tank undergoes rigorous leak tests before shipment, ensuring no leakage issues. (1) Confirm the customer's water filling amount; insufficient water can cause splashing during the pump's operation, creating a false impression of leakage in the tank. (2) The drain port on the left side of the machine is a plug-type; check if the plug has fallen off.

4. Low Temperature Tank Pump Failure: Upon removing the cover of the low temperature tank, you will see the circulation motor. If the motor shaft can be turned by hand without any loose wire ends, the motor is damaged. If the hand cannot turn the shaft, the motor is stuck. Use pliers to grip the motor shaft and turn it clockwise and counterclockwise. After that, turn on the pump switch. If the pump still cannot rotate, the jam is severe and the machine needs to be disassembled to loosen the motor. (For disassembly methods, contact technical support.)

5. Slow cooling or inability to cool in low-temperature tanks: Determine if the tank is being used for internal cooling or external circulation. If external circulation is being used, short-circuit the outlet and inlet to form an internal circulation. Observe if the machine can cool down; if it can, the refrigeration system is not faulty. The customer should consider whether the external circulation pipeline is too long, leading to insufficient cooling capacity, or if the insulation of the external circulation pipeline is adequate. If internal circulation cannot cool down, contact a technician for further inspection.
