The light incubator is microcomputer-controlled and fully automatic, featuring an integrated control panel. The touch switch allows for arbitrary setting of running time, temperature, and light for each experimental segment. It can display the experiment cycle (number of days), set time and temperature, remaining time, actual temperature, and light intensity. The light incubator also has a cycle conversion function.

The light incubator is mainly composed of four parts: the top cover, the working chamber, the cooling and heating room, and the bottom chamber. The top cover of the light incubator, manufactured by the light incubator factory, is equipped with a computer controller, a digital display, indicator lights, and operation switches. The top cover features daylight lamp sockets on both sides, and the working chamber is constructed with three sides of hollow glass. The cooling and heating system of the light incubator is located below the working chamber, connected to the inlet and outlet of the working chamber's ventilation ducts. Inside, there are evaporators, electric heaters, and two circulating fans to provide heating or cooling to the working chamber. The bottom chamber houses a compressor, condenser, cooling fan, instrument power line junction box, and fuse.
