Equipment Operation: Ensure all test tube positions are filled and the culture liquid volumes are approximately equal to maintain equipment balance and reduce vibration. Set the temperature, time, and oscillation mode correctly according to experimental requirements. Operating within the medium speed range can extend the equipment's lifespan. During use, regularly check if the fuse box, control components, and all securing screws are loose.
Maintenance: After each use, the equipment's interior and exterior surfaces must be cleaned to keep it clean, but it is prohibited to use acidic chemical diluents or gasoline for cleaning. When used for a long time, it is recommended to add a moderate amount of lubricant every few months to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Environmental Requirements: Equipment should be used on a sturdy, dry, well-ventilated surface or workbench; ensure the environmental temperature is suitable and avoid prolonged operation under extreme temperatures.
Special Precautions: In case brush wear in the motor causes abnormal operation, the brushes should be replaced promptly and ground as required; if the equipment remains in the refrigeration state for an extended period, it should be heated and dehumidified regularly to prevent moisture accumulation inside the box.
Three-Gas Incubator Management: The three-gas incubator should be managed by a designated person. Once any switches or adjustment knobs on the control panel are set, do not twist them randomly to avoid affecting the fluctuations in temperature, CO2, and humidity inside the incubator, which may also reduce its sensitivity. The water added must be distilled or deionized water to prevent corrosion caused by mineral accumulation in the incubator's water tank. Water must be changed annually and checked regularly to ensure there is enough water in the incubator. The incubator should be disinfected and cleaned with disinfectant on a regular basis; shelves can be removed for cleaning and disinfection to prevent contamination by other microorganisms, which could lead to experimental failure. Regularly inspect the incubator's over-temperature safety device to prevent overheating. If CO2 is not used for an extended period, the CO2 switch should be turned off to prevent the CO2 regulator from malfunctioning. The CO2 used must be pure to avoid reducing the sensitivity of the CO2 sensor and contaminating the CO2 filter device. In incubators without humidity control, to maintain stable CO2 levels, place a container filled with water at the bottom of the incubator.
