Common Issues and Usage Precautions for Low-Temperature Constant Temperature Baths

1. Temperature cannot be maintained: The machine requires auto-tuning. Press and hold the left shift key to display "AT" at the top of the screen and "OFF" at the bottom. Press the up shift key to change "OFF" to "ON," then press the SET key to exit. The auto-tuning process takes a long time, usually around 20-30 minutes. If auto-tuning does not end after a long time, shut down the machine, restart it, and perform auto-tuning again.

2. The temperature keeps dropping and cannot be maintained at a constant level: This is usually due to a damaged heating tube. After turning off the refrigeration, set the machine's temperature to high (15 degrees higher than the tank temperature is sufficient). If the OUT indicator light on the gauge does not stay lit, it is a preliminary judgment that there is a fault in the temperature control system.

3. Low-Temperature Tank Leak: Our low-temperature tanks undergo rigorous leak tests before shipment, and there is no leakage in the inner tank. (1) Ensure the client's water level is sufficient; insufficient water level can cause liquid to splash out of the inner tank during pump operation, creating a false impression of leakage. (2) The drain port on the left side of the machine is a plug removal type; check if the water plug has fallen off.

4. Low Temperature Tank Pump Failure: Upon removing the top cover of the low temperature tank, you can see the circulation motor inside. If the motor shaft can be turned by hand without any loose wire connections, the motor is damaged. If the hand cannot turn the shaft, the motor is jammed. Use pliers to grip the top of the motor shaft and turn it in both directions. Afterward, turn on the pump switch. If the pump still cannot rotate, it indicates a severe jam, and the machine will need to be opened up to loosen the motor. (For disassembly methods, contact the technical department.)

5. Slow cooling or inability to cool in low-temperature tanks: Determine if the tank is being used for internal cooling or external circulation. If external circulation is being used, short-circuit the outlet and inlet to form an internal circulation. Observe if the machine can cool down; if it can, the refrigeration system is not faulty. The customer should consider whether the external circulation pipeline is too long, leading to insufficient cooling capacity, or if the insulation of the external circulation pipeline is adequate. If the internal circulation cannot cool down, contact a technician for further inspection.
