Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Light-Transmitting Panel Installation Points

After installation, reserve the space for the light panel, and the construction proceeds from the eaves to the ridge direction. The light panel is directly clipped onto the side wave peak of the steel sheet.

Skylight panels should have pilot holes pre-drilled before installation, with the hole diameter being 6-9mm larger than the diameter of the fixing screws to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.

When the translucent tiles are overlapped with steel plates vertically, there must be at least a 200mm overlap, and two water-stopping strips should be applied.

When fixing skylight panels, a good gasket must be used between the screws and the panels for water and dust prevention.

After slipping the gasket over the screw, secure it into the joist with an electric drill, thus completing the installation of the skylight panel.

During the installation of light-transmitting panels, it is strictly prohibited to step directly on the crest to prevent cracking of the panels. A 1200mm x 300mm (length x width) non-slip thick wooden board must be placed horizontally on the light-transmitting panel, and work on the guiding holes and fixing screws with the feet on it.
