Fiberglass Precautions

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Light-Transmitting Panel Installation Tips:

After installation, reserve a space for the light-transmitting panels, and construction proceeds from the eaves towards the ridge. The light-transmitting panels are directly clipped onto the side wave peaks of the steel sheet.

Skylight panels should have pilot holes prior to installation, with the hole diameter being 6-9mm larger than the diameter of the fixing screws to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.

When the采光瓦 and steel plate are overlapped longitudinally, there must be at least a 200mm overlap, with two water-stopping strips applied.

When fixing skylight panels, a good gasket must be used between the screws and the panels for water and dust prevention.

After sliding the gasket over the screw, secure it into the rafter with an electric drill, thereby completing the installation of the skylight panel.

During the installation of light-transmitting panels, it is strictly prohibited to step directly on the crest to prevent cracking of the panels. A 1200mm x 300mm (length x width) non-slip thick wood board must be placed horizontally on the light-transmitting panel, and work on the guiding holes and fixing screws with your feet on it.
