ZMK ⅡSeries distributed DC power suppliesShanghai Renren Automation TechnologyThe new generation of distributed power systems developed on the basis of the original distributed power systems in 2015.
ZMK ⅡThe Series Distributed DC Power Supply is a new type of DC power supply equipment, primarily used in small switching stations and at the user's end. It provides a reliable uninterrupted power supply for secondary control circuits (such as intelligent terminals like microcomputer protection and indicator lights, analog indicators, etc.), preventing the loss of protection function in microcomputer protection during AC power outages. It also addresses issues where the UPS fails due to factors like overvoltage and harmonics, leading to the failure of microcomputer protection. Additionally, it can supply DC operation power to primary switching equipment that meets power requirements (such as spring mechanism vacuum circuit breakers, permanent magnet vacuum circuit breakers, electric load switches, etc.).
ZMK ⅡThe series of distributed DC power supplies features both AC input and PT input options, with output specifications ranging from DC220V to DC24V. They cater to a variety of usage scenarios. The maximum output power of the unit reaches 600W, meeting the requirements of different loads.
ZMK ⅡSeries distributed DC power supplies are compact, easy to install and wire, and suitable for installation within various switchgear models. They offer greater reliability and economy compared to conventional DC switchboards, especially for small-scale end-users, while also saving space, reducing line losses and installation work. Additionally, they are easy to maintain, providing a new choice for power supply reliability in electrical systems.
ZMK ⅡSeries distributed DC power supplies utilize high-frequency power technology. The batteries are maintained with an automatic charging management module, significantly extending their service life and ensuring safer and more reliable operation of the unit. The unit is equipped with communication and alarm functions, allowing for easy remote automated management without human presence.

4.3 Output Power and Power Consumption
(1) Continuous Operating Power
Continuous Operation: ≤200W
Meets the power supply needs for microcomputer protection devices, indicator lights, and analog indicators; when powered by batteries, it can last up to 8-24 hours depending on the battery capacity and load parameters.
② Impact operating power: ≤700W, 60S
Meets the needs of most 10KV system circuit breakers with spring mechanisms, such as VS1, VD4, ZN21, etc., for electric load switch energy storage power supply.
③ Instantaneous Operating Power: ≤1000W, 300ms
Meets the power supply needs of circuit breakers and load switches for most 10KV systems, such as VS1, VD4, ZN21, etc., for opening and closing operations; can operate over 20 times when powered by battery backup.
(2) Power Consumption:The device itself consumes no more than 8W of power.
4.4 Battery Charging and Discharging
The unit is externally powered by 2 x 12V batteries. In the event of an AC power outage, it ensures continuous DC power supply. The specific backup time is determined by the battery capacity and load size. When the battery voltage drops to over/under voltage levels, the unit emits an alarm signal and automatically stops DC output to protect the battery. When AC power is restored, the unit automatically resumes DC power supply and can fully recharge the batteries within 72 hours.

5. Product Features
(1) Dispersed installation, saving land area and reducing construction cost
Based on the distributed design philosophy,ZMK ⅡSeries distributed DC power supply units are directly installed in the instrument box of an intelligent switchgear cabinet (or the electric operation box of an outdoor unit), saving the floor space required for the DC screen.
Due to the power supply being located within the switchgear cabinet, it reduces the amount of cable required, saving on initial equipment investment and cable installation labor. When the total number is not high, its total price is lower than that of the DC screen system, which can lower the overall project cost. Additionally, during operation, it can reduce line losses, decrease spare parts, and save on operational costs.
(2) Distributed power supply method, reliability greatly enhanced
Employing a distributed power supply method, in the event of a fault in one circuit, the power supplies of other circuits remain unaffected, thereby preventing a situation where a single fault leads to the entire station losing operational power. Compared to centralized power supply DC screens, its overall reliability is significantly enhanced.
