Baosteel's Shanghai base has established a 5G intelligent color-coated steel sheet production line, achieving full-process digital control from raw material entry to finished product dispatch through the deployment of over 2,000 Internet of Things sensors, reducing the order delivery cycle from 15 days to 72 hours. Angang Steel Corporation utilizes digital twin technology to build a color-coated steel sheet production line model, optimizing coating thickness fluctuations to ±1μm from ±3μm, increasing the first-pass quality rate to 99.2%. The quality traceability system developed by Ma Steel Group assigns a digital code to each roll of color-coated steel sheet, allowing real-time queries of production batches, process parameters, and test data, with traceability accuracy to 0.1 meter per roll.
