Surface Quality and Appearance Characteristics
The surface quality of the aluminum-zinc coated sheet directly affects its application effectiveness. The product surface should be smooth, free of zinc nodules, and no missed coating, presenting a uniform silver-gray metallic luster. During production, the surface roughness (Ra value typically between 0.5-2.0μm) can be adjusted through light rolling, catering to various coating requirements: rough surfaces enhance coating adhesion, suitable for subsequent painting or powder coating; smooth surfaces are directly used in scenarios requiring a metallic feel, such as architectural facades, interior decoration, etc. Additionally, the uniformity of the coating thickness (usually controlled between 15-40μm) is a critical indicator; too thin reduces corrosion resistance, while too thick increases cost and makes it prone to fracturing. Online detection technology (such as eddy current thickness gauges) can monitor the coating quality in real-time, ensuring product consistency.
