Water-soluble carbon black

Soluble Carbon BlackAlso known as water-soluble carbon black or hydrophilic carbon black, it is a special type of carbon black that can dissolve directly in water and disperse evenly without the need for any additives. The particle size is typically between 20nm and 30nm, offering high coloring power. Below is a detailed introduction to water-soluble carbon black:
I. Preparation Method
Nitrating oxidation methodImmerse carbon black in a 1~5wt% nitric acid solution, stir and react at 80~90℃ to obtain oxidized carbon black.
Strong base neutralization methodAdd carbon black oxide to a strong alkali solution at 0.5~5wt%, stir and react at 45~55°C to obtain neutralized carbon black.
Surface finishing methodAdd tannic acid and N2-aminopropyltriethoxysilane to the TrisHCl buffer and mix well to obtain the mixed solution; immerse the neutralized carbon black in the mixed solution, stir at room temperature, forming a hydrophilic layer on the surface of the carbon black, resulting in water-soluble carbon black.
II. Performance Features
High dispersionDirectly dispersible and soluble in water without additives, forming a uniform solution.
High color strengthExcellent coloring performance, suitable for applications requiring high darkness.
Environmental friendlinessThe preparation method is simple, efficient, environmentally friendly, and meets the modern industry's requirements for environmental protection.
Section 3: Application Fields
