Peak Force Mode Implementation
Quantitative Imaging Mode
· Bruker's new imaging mode, PeakForce QNM, enables quantitative detection of the mechanical properties of materials at the nanoscale, achieving high-resolution images of material adhesion and elastic modulus at normal scan rates. Unlike traditional phase imaging and some manufacturers' multifrequency techniques, the PeakForce QNM mode provides quantitative experimental data.
·PeakForce TUNA module, which can quantitatively measure the conductivity of samples, a capability not achievable by traditional conductivity modes.
· Introducing ScanAsyst-HR, which enables rapid scanning mode on MultiMode8. Compared to traditional AFM, it maintains image resolution while being 6 times faster, delivering AFM images with superior resolution. The scanning speed is 20 times faster than traditional AFM.
BrookAtomic Force MicroscopeHigh resolution and testing performance
· To date, a large number of high-level papers have been published with the help of MultiMode series atomic force microscopes, aiding scientists in solving
· Numerous significant cutting-edge research issues. MultiMode8 utilizes a compact, rigid design, enabling low system noise and obtaining high-resolution images even when the testing of samples is challenging and the testing conditions are stringent.
· The NanoScope®V controller offers industry-leading system noise and bandwidth, enhancing data analysis capabilities and is suitable for a wider range of research fields.
· Bruker's PeakForceTapping® technology controls the force between the tip and the sample, which can be significantly lower than the force required for TappingMode.
Applicable to multiple research fields
· In atmospheric or solution environments, MultiMode8 can perform sample testing. With its resolution and functionality, it is widely used in various fields such as physics, chemistry, materials, electronics, and life sciences.
· Temperature control and environmental control accessories are available for the MultiMode8. It can heat up to 250°C, cool down to -35°C, or perform detection and imaging of sensitive samples in gloveboxes with steam and oxygen levels below 1ppm.
·On the basis of the MultiMode8 basic operating mode, optional accessories with different functions can be selected to achieve high-resolution imaging while obtaining various performance indicators such as mechanical, electrical, magnetic, and thermodynamic properties of the sample.
