CUBE (Cube) is a monolithic charge-sensitive preamplifier that operates in a pulse reset mode. With the aid of an external resistor, it can also run in a continuous reset mode.
This circuit is suitable for providing noise reduction performance during short peak times, achieving low dead time and high counting rate measurements, with energy resolution.
Key Features
Physical Dimensions: 750 µm x 750 µm x 250 µm
Input Capacitance: Multiple CUBE models available
■ Power Consumption: From 6mW to 60mW
■ Rise time without sensor: 7 nanoseconds
The advantages of the all-in-one preamplifier
■ All the available JFETs (Junction Field-Effect Transistors) offer a shorter shaping time.
The amplified signal level is located at the output end of the detector module.
There is no sensitive front-end amplifier loop on the module's outer side.
Can drive "long" connections with low-impedance outputs.
