With the rapid development of cities and the increasing number of buildings, the extensive use of flammable materials, coupled with a lack of fire safety awareness among people, this significantly raises the likelihood of fires. Although every building is equipped with a fire extinguishing system, experience and lessons have shown that the success of extinguishing a fire largely depends on the integrity of the fire供水 equipment. Fire pumps are a crucial component of the fire suppression system, characterized by their long-term non-use, yet they must perform 100% when activated. Due to their prolonged disuse and the damp environment in pump rooms, it's common for fire pump shafts and impellers to rust and seize, as well as for electrical components to malfunction. This can lead to the fire pump failing to operate properly during a fire, rendering it unable to extinguish the flames and posing a threat to people's lives and property safety.

To address these fire safety challenges, our company has independently developed an integrated intelligent fire inspection system - the fire pump inspection cabinet, which combines alarm, surveillance, control, and management functions. It has been mass-produced and put into use. This product prevents rust, dampness, and abnormal operation of fire pumps, achieving the goal of "training soldiers for a thousand days and using them at a moment's notice." Appendix: Section 4 of Article 5 in "Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Fixed Fire Water Supply Equipment GA30.2" specifies the inspection function.

Fire pumps that are in a non-operational state for extended periods should be equipped with a patrol inspection function and should meet the following requirements:

5.4.4.1 The equipment should be equipped with both automatic and manual inspection functions, with the automatic inspection cycle capable of being set as required.

5.4.4.2 Fire pumps operate individually according to fire-fighting methods, with each pump running for at least 2 minutes.

5.4.4.3 The equipment should automatically exit the inspection process and enter fire protection operation mode upon receiving a fire alarm signal during routine inspections.

5.4.4.4, Faults discovered during routine inspections should trigger audible and visual alarms. Equipment with fault memory function should record the type of fault and the time of occurrence, with at least [number] fault information entries, and the display should be clear and easy to understand.

5.4.4.5 The equipment using power frequency for inspection should have anti-overpressure measures. For equipment with inspection pressure relief circuits, the circuit settings should be safe and reliable.

5.4.4.6 Electrically operated valves used for regulating water pressure should be included in the inspection routine.

Section 5 of GB27898-2011: Fixed Fire Water Supply Equipment stipulates:

5.4.5.1. The equipment should be equipped with manual inspection and inspection reminder functions, and the inspection reminder cycle should be adjustable as needed, but the longest cycle must not exceed 360 hours.

5.4.5.2. The operation method for inspection rounds should be simple and should be specified in the "Operation Manual."

5.4.5.3. During inspection, the fire pumps should be started and operated one by one, with each pump running for at least 2 minutes under rated conditions.

5.4.5.4. Faults detected during inspection should trigger an audible and visual alarm.
