Dipotassium Phosphate (DSP)
Alias: Disodium Phosphate
Chemical Formula: Na2HPO4·nH2O (n=12,0)
CAS NO.: 7558-79-4 (anhydrous), 10039-32-4 (dodecahydrate)
Properties:
Twelve hydrate is a white crystalline substance with a relative density of 1.52, prone to weathering. It melts at 35℃ and loses 5结晶 water, becoming anhydrous at 100℃. The anhydrous form is a white powder, easily hygroscopic. Both are soluble in water, forming a slightly alkaline solution; they are insoluble in alcohol.
Usage:
(1) Dihydrate sodium hydrogen phosphate, also known as disodium hydrogen phosphate, is used in industrial applications such as boiler softening agents, flame retardants for fabrics, wood, and paper, detergent production, as glaze and soldering flux, as a stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide bleaching in dyeing, as a culture medium for monosodium glutamate, erythromycin, penicillin, streptomycin, and biochemical treatment products for wastewater, and in electroplating, among others. Anhydrous disodium hydrogen phosphate is used as a flame retardant, weight-increasing agent for silk, a helper for reactive dyes, and as a substitute for borax in welding and brazing processes. (2) In the food industry, it serves as a quality improver, pH regulator, nutritional supplement, emulsifying dispersant, fermentation aid, and binder. Primarily used in staple foods, soy milk products, dairy products, meat products, cheese, beverages, fruits, ice cream, and tomato sauce. It is added in food processing at a rate of 3-5‰.
Packaging:
Standard packaging is 25kg/bag, custom packaging and labels available.
