

Zinc sulfate monohydrate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula ZnSO₄·H₂O. It appears as a white, flowable powder. The density is 3.28 g/cm³. It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and in the air...EasyHygroscopic; insoluble in acetone. Prepared by the reaction of zinc oxide or zinc hydroxide with sulfuric acid. Used as raw material for the production of other zinc salts; in galvanizing cables and electrolytic purification of zinc; as a spray agent for fruit tree nursery diseases; and as a preservative for artificial fibers, wood, and leather.
Monohydrate zinc sulfate is used as a supplement for zinc in feed processing. Zinc is a component of numerous enzymes in livestock and poultry, playing a crucial role in the normal growth and development of their skin, feathers, bones, reproductive functions, taste system development, and cardiovascular system function.
