Fritted glass is composed of high-quality glass materials. The chemical composition of fritted glass is Boro-Aluminium-Silicate. Its main characteristics include resistance to almost all organic and inorganic acids, as well as high concentrations of alkalis at high temperatures. Evaporators with glass linings are also used for products with stringent sterile requirements or where contact with metal can decompose catalysts or cause other chemical reactions.

The evaporator's interior is primarily composed of glass-lined and other corrosion-resistant non-metallic materials. The operating temperature of the unit can reach 220°C. VTA-manufactured film evaporators with glass linings and short-path evaporators.
