- Chosen for its high strength and wear-resistant gear material, German-made, ensuring performance and durability.
Gear pump discharge equipped with a siphon tube, serving as a pressure lock function.
- Evaporator feed pipe opening, outlet pipes for restructured and light fractions are all jacketed design.
- The feeding can be done using a feeder with a needle valve or a feeding diaphragm pump, still a very cost-effective piece of equipment.
VKL70 Molecular Distillation Single Discharge Gear Pump

Featuring a high-precision gear pump for feeding, it effectively prevents pressure fluctuations caused by liquid level changes during feeding. The gear pump maintains a constant feeding speed. More significantly, for the same material, the pump's feeding speed corresponds directly to the frequency of the variable frequency drive. The frequency represents the pump's rotational speed, and as the gear pump is a constant-volume pump, the feeding amount remains constant at the same speed. The advantage of this design is the high repeatability of the feeding amount. Each experiment can replicate the same feeding amount by setting the same variable frequency drive frequency, which aids in the reliability and accuracy of experimental data.
The VKL70-5 FDRR jacketed discharge buffer for molecular distillation equipment features an all-jacketed evaporator design, ensuring all contact points with the material can be heated. Moreover, the light component discharge area is also jacket-heated, allowing light components with high melting points to be heated and processed. The VKL70-5 FDRR has a wide material processing range, capable of handling feed rates up to 0.1 kg/h and processing capacities of 1.5-2 kg/h, thus meeting the needs for small-scale trial conditions and enabling small batch continuous production.
There are two types of scraper rotors available for selection. The WRS roller-style rotor is suitable for handling low-viscosity materials, while the SKR metal elastic scraper rotor can process high-viscosity materials. This is due to the loading force exerted by the elastic metal sheets on the scraper, which results in excellent scraping and turbulent effects on the liquid film.
The heat transfer oil connector of the evaporator is designed as VTA*, featuring high-temperature-resistant graphite gaskets for easy disassembly and excellent sealing performance, ensuring no leakage at all under the high temperature of 300°C.
Considering the economic feasibility of the equipment, the discharge choice is between a three-way discharge valve connected to the collection bottle or a buffer connected to the collection bottle. It also boasts strong expandability. Users can consider upgrading and replacing the light phase or heavy phase discharge with a set of gear discharge pumps, or switching all light-to-heavy phase discharges to discharge gear pumps.
