April 10th, Baosteel Corporation's* carbon steel product pricing policy for May 2019 is as follows:
One, Hot Rolled Products: Basic price at Meishan base reduced by 300 yuan/ton, authorized discount applied for an additional 100 yuan/ton; Basic price at Baoshan base reduced by 120 yuan/ton, authorized discount applied for an additional 280 yuan/ton; Basic price at Dongshan base reduced by 120 yuan/ton, authorized discount applied for an additional 280 yuan/ton. Other discounts and authorization policies remain unchanged; Preservation policy for Dongshan and Meishan cold rolled, rolling, and patterned steel users will be reviewed separately based on current market conditions (subsequent preservation quota for April to be reported later).

Baoshan is one of the major steel enterprises in China to introduce color coated steel sheet production lines early on.
