Square and rectangular tubes, also known as equal-sided steel pipes. They are formed by rolling steel strips after processing. Typically, steel strips are unpacked, leveled, curled, and welded into round tubes, then rolled into squares and cut to the required length. Generally, there are 50 tubes per package.

Square and rectangular tubes are used in engineering construction, glass curtain walls, door and window decorations, steel structures, guardrails, machinery manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, household appliance manufacturing, shipbuilding, container manufacturing, electricity, agricultural construction, greenhouses, bicycle frames, motorcycle frames, shelving, fitness equipment, leisure and travel items, steel furniture, specifications of oil casing, oil pipes, and pipeline pipes, fluid transportation for water, gas, sewage, air, heating, and fire protection as well as supports, and construction industries.

The standard delivery length of square tubes is typically 4000mm to 12000mm, with 6000mm and 12000mm being the most common. Square tubes allow for short lengths not less than 2000mm and non-standard sizes to be delivered, and they can also be supplied in the form of joint tubes, but the customer should remove the joint tubes upon use. The weight of short lengths and non-standard products should not exceed 5% of the total delivery quantity, and for square tubes with a theoretical weight greater than 20kg/m, this should not exceed 10% of the total delivery quantity.

The bending degree of the square rectangular tube should not exceed 2mm per meter, and the total bending degree should not exceed 0.2% of the total length.

The allowable deviation of square and rectangular tube wall thickness is not more than ±10% of the nominal wall thickness when the wall thickness is not greater than 10mm. For wall thickness greater than 10mm, it is ±8% of the wall thickness, excluding the bending and weld areas.
