April 10th, Baosteel Group Corporation's price policy for carbon steel products in May 2019 is as follows:
One, Hot-Rolled Products: Basic price at Meishan base reduced by 300 yuan/ton, with authorized discount of 100 yuan/ton utilized; basic price at Baoshan reduced by 120 yuan/ton, with authorized discount of 280 yuan/ton utilized; basic price at Dongshan base reduced by 120 yuan/ton, with authorized discount of 280 yuan/ton utilized. Other discounts and authorization policies remain unchanged; for cold-rolled, rolling, and patterned steel users at Dongshan and Meishan, preservation policies will be submitted separately based on the current market situation (the preservation quota for April will be submitted later).
2. Heavy Plates: The base price for carbon steel heavy plates is reduced by 300 yuan/ton, with other discounts and authorizations remaining unchanged; the base price for stainless steel heavy plates remains unchanged, with other discounts and authorizations staying the same.
Section 3: Pickling Products: Baoshan base product prices remain unchanged, authorized discounts increased by 150 yuan/ton; Meishan and Dongshan base prices reduced by 150 yuan/ton, general carbon and home appliance steel prices further reduced by 150 yuan/ton, other discounts and authorizations remain unchanged. For Meishan and Dongshan users in April, certain discounts are offered: orders of 1000 tons or more receive a 300 yuan/ton discount, while other users receive a 200 yuan/ton discount.

Shanghai Baosteel
Baoshan is one of the early domestic steel companies to introduce color-coated steel sheet production lines. Since producing coil color-coated steel sheets in 1989, it has accumulated nearly 30 years of experience in color-coated steel sheet production by 2016, having produced over 7 million tons of high-quality color-coated steel sheets.
Currently, the Shanghai headquarters has three color-coated steel line groups with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons. Offer 60 yuan/ton order discount to Haier. Provide discounts for April orders: 300 yuan/ton discount for orders of 1000 tons or more, and 200 yuan/ton discount for other users. Base price for automotive products reduced by 120 yuan/ton, with other policies unchanged.
Five: Hot-dip galvanized products: Baoshan and Dongshan bases' CQ-grade, S-series structural steel, BjD series products, and Meishan base's base price is reduced by 300 RMB/ton. Dongshan and Meishan authorized discounts increased by 150 RMB/ton, and Meishan advance order discounts increased by 50 RMB/ton. Certain discounts are offered to April order users: users with orders of 1000 tons or more receive a 300 RMB/ton discount, while others receive a 200 RMB/ton discount; the base price for cars is reduced by 120 RMB/ton, and other policies remain unchanged.
Six: Electroplated Zinc Products: Home appliances base price reduced by 200 yuan/ton, early order discount of 100 yuan/ton, other policies unchanged; Offer certain discounts to April order users: 300 yuan/ton for orders of 1000 tons or more, 200 yuan/ton discount for the rest. Automotive base price reduced by 120 yuan/ton, other policies remain the same.
Section 7: Aluminum-Zinc Coated Products: Offer a discount to customers who place orders in April: Customers ordering 1000 tons or more receive a discount of 300 RMB per ton, while other customers get a discount of 200 RMB per ton.
Section 8: Color Coated Products - Base price reduced by 150 RMB/ton, early ordering discount increased by 100 RMB/ton, and a reward of 150 RMB/ton offered for March to April.
Section 9: Non-oriented silicon steel: Base price down by 300 RMB/ton, authorized preferential policies remain unchanged. Installation Precautions for Color Steel Plates
1. After the color steel panels are pressed on-site, they must be sorted and stacked, with a waterproof tarpaulin covering. In case of heavy rain and moisture, the panels must be separated immediately.
Wipe away surface moisture with a dry cloth, then stack the boards and maintain good air circulation to dry the surface.
2. To expedite the project timeline, utilize flat-bucket rope hoists to lift the bundled color panels in one go to the roof, and then divide labor manually, with particular attention required.
When handling color-coated steel coils, use dry and clean gloves. Do not drag handover steel plates and other items across the surface of the color-coated panels, on the roof surface.
Staff members must wear soft-soled rubber shoes. Before ascending the roof, mud and debris should be cleared. When walking along the roof panels vertically, walk in the grooves.
End out, install in the order from bottom to top, ensuring the joints of the flange board are facing down. Absolutely prohibited to have the joints facing up.
4. The coping board at the top of the parapet wall should have a certain slope during installation. It is prohibited for the coping board on the parapet wall to have a higher middle and lower ends.
The coping at the top of the parapet wall should be sealed with two layers of sealant and fastened with double rows of rivets.

On a micro level, the coating is a porous structure. Water in the air and corrosive agents (ions, etc.) can penetrate through the薄弱 parts of the coating, leading to underfilm corrosion, which in turn causes the coating to bubble and peel off. Additionally, even with the same coating thickness, the secondary coating is denser than the primary coating. According to foreign reports and related corrosion test results, a coating thickness of 20μm or more is required on the front side to effectively prevent the penetration of corrosive agents. Due to the different corrosion prevention mechanisms of the primer and topcoat, it is not only necessary to specify the total film thickness but also to separately require the thickness of the primer (>5μm) and the topcoat (>15μm). Only then can the corrosion resistance of different parts of the color-coated steel plate be balanced.
PVDF products require thicker coatings to ensure longer service life. The requirements for the backside coating vary depending on the application; for sandwich panels, only a single adhesive primer layer is required. However, for formed steel sheets, due to the indoor corrosive environment, a double coating is also necessary. The thickness should be at least 10μm.
