Freewheeling roller chain

One or both sides of the chain feature roller wheels, which can be installed either staggered at certain intervals or symmetrically, known as side-roller chain. Alternatively, the chain links can extend upward to accommodate a chain with a top-mounted, freely rotating roller, referred to as a top cover roller chain. Both types are classified as roller chain.
