The RXB flexible rotor pump is a volumetric pump that vacuum-suctions and extrudes fluids. Since its invention, it has gained increasingly widespread application in various industrial and mining settings.
Features:
Small in size, big in flow – generally, smaller in volume compared to competitive pump types at the same flow rate. Easy to install and move.
Instant full self-priming—no additional equipment required, no need to add liquid before start-up. Suction range up to 5 meters.
The pump housing is made of high-quality stainless steel castings, and all metal components in the flow path are made of stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti).
Medium conveying viscosity up to 2000 centipoise
Can transport gaseous and foamy liquids without air blockage
Capable of conveying media containing suspended soft and hard particles.
The gentle action of the rotor does not damage media sensitive to shearing, such as papermaking dispersants.
Flexible rotor operates without metal contact, producing no sparks; particularly suitable for the conveyance of solvents like alcohol, gasoline, acetone, etc., when equipped with an explosion-proof motor.
Aesthetically pleasing, durable, and easy to maintain
Application:
The pump's self-priming capability and strong adaptability to various working conditions make it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including drum emptying, silo cleaning, liquid suction and discharge from underground sump pools, sampling, and conveying various fluids and semi-solids. For example, when emptying drums, simply insert the inlet hose into the drum to exhaust it completely. It effectively replaces centrifugal self-priming pumps, submersible pumps, gear pumps, and other types of pumps.
Chemical Industry - media including weak inorganic acids, organic acids, bases, salts, oils, alcohols, ketones, esters, etc.
Not particularly stringent in terms of hygiene requirements
I. Product Introduction:
Flexible Blade Self-Priming Pump, also known as Flexible Rotor Pump, Flexible Rotor Pump, and Flexible Impeller Pump, is a new type of volumetric self-priming pump that vacuum吸取 fluids (no need for initial fluid filling) and compresses the discharge. It boasts both dry self-priming capabilities and strong conveying power, ideal for transporting shear-sensitive, medium to low viscosity materials with suspended particles. While offering the stable, pulse-free characteristics of centrifugal pumps, it can also handle high-viscosity media like rotor pumps and gear pumps. The rubber impeller operates without sparking, and when paired with an explosion-proof motor, it can safely convey flammable and explosive hazardous materials, ensuring zero safety hazards.
II. Operating Principle:
① Inside the pump cavity, there is an eccentric bulge. As the flexible blades move away from the eccentric block, the volume between the blades continuously increases, creating a vacuum. This allows the liquid to be continuously drawn into the pump cavity at the inlet.
② As the flexible blades rotate, the fluid is drawn from the pump's intake chamber to the discharge chamber.
③ Upon re-contact with the eccentric boss, the flexible blades bend, accompanied by a compressing action, ensuring a continuous and pulsation-free discharge of fluid from the pump chamber, thereby completing the entire suction and discharge process.
Section 3: Flexible Elastomer Technology
As the core technology of the flexible pump, the impeller should possess elasticity, minimal deformation, and be able to withstand long-term bending without fracturing or tearing. The impeller elastomer technology determines the pump's performance and durability. Currently, there are two materials for the impeller—hydrogenated nitrile rubber and silicone; nitrile impellers are mainly used for oil-containing media such as vegetable oil, mineral oil, gasoline, diesel, and aviation kerosene. Silicone is primarily used in the food hygiene industry or for weak acid and weak alkali media.
Section 4: Product Features:
Small size, large flow rate.
Flow is pulseless.
Dry Self-Priming. Can reach up to 5 meters of water column.
Can handle fluids and semi-solids with viscosities up to 5,000 centipoise.
Can transport gaseous and foamy liquids without air blockage.
Capable of transporting suspended hard and soft particle media without causing damage to the pump or the medium.
The pump's gentle action does not damage shear-sensitive and thixotropic media.
All flow metal parts are made of SUS304, AISI 316 stainless steel; the pump cavity is designed without dead corners, with both inner and outer surfaces polished; meets 3A and GMP standards.
The pump head can be quickly disassembled and reassembled for cleaning – even a novice can do it in under five minutes. Compliant with CIP in situ cleaning (up to 120 degrees Celsius).
The进出口 can rotate 360 degrees with the pump head to accommodate pipeline connections.
Import/export directions can be interchanged—simply adjust the motor's direction.
The rotating components inside the pump cavity – the flexible impeller – operate without metal-to-metal contact, ensuring silent operation.
Compared to competitive pump types, lower initial investment, maintenance, and operating costs.
V. Product Applications:
Chemical industry - media for weak inorganic acids, organic acids, bases, salts, oils, alcohols, ketones, esters, etc.
Food industry with less stringent hygiene requirements—used for conveying edible or nutritional fluids and semi-solids (including suspensions of soft and hard particles, fluids of varying viscosities, fragile, and non-foamable), such as batter, jam, eggs, tomato sauce, brine, seasonings, edible oils, canned food, sauce, jelly, milk, ice cream, yogurt, fruit yogurt, whey, syrup, honey, glucose, tomato juice and paste, beer, wine, grape juice, stemmed grapes, soft drinks, fruit puree, concentrated fruit juice.
