Fritted gland nuts are available in Type A and Type B. Type A fritted gland nuts come with a thread directly on the lower gland, are made of forged steel, offering high strength and compact size, but with higher costs and complex manufacturing processes. They are used in fritted vessels designed for temperatures between -20℃ and 200℃, and with materials like 40Cr, 30CrMoA, 35CrMoA, 35CrMoVA, 35Cr2MoVA, for pressures not exceeding 1.0 MPa. When made of 35 steel, they are used in vessels designed for pressures not exceeding 0.6 MPa. Type B fritted gland nuts do not have a thread on the lower gland, are cast from malleable cast iron, have lower strength and greater weight, but with lower costs and simpler manufacturing. They are used in fritted vessels designed for temperatures between -10℃ and 200℃ and pressures not exceeding 0.25 MPa when made of KTH350-10 material.
