Operating Principle
Integrated grease separator and lifting equipment, also known as a grease separator, consists of three functional sections for treatment, significantly enhancing the removal rates of sludge and floating oil in wastewater. Wastewater containing oil enters the slag removal zone, where a mechanical rotating grate is installed. Large particles of sludge in the water are intercepted in the grate box and then conveyed by a screw to the slag removal drum. The filtered wastewater then enters the second treatment room, the oil-water separation zone. Here, the wastewater containing oil is filtered through a series of inclined plates and pipes, causing the oil to quickly separate to the water surface. As the oil content increases, the surface accumulates more oil. Using the hydraulic principle, the oil is pressed into a sealed oil collection chamber for storage, and then periodically discharged through an oil drain valve into an external oil collection drum. In the third treatment room, the discharge zone, the water flow is slowed down and either overflowed or pumped out. This ensures that the outflowing water is free of oil and settled sludge, while also isolating fine oil particles, significantly reducing the level of Fats, Oils, and Greases (FOG) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS). This achieves the oil-water separation goal. A storage room is set at the lower left corner of the grease separator for storing the slag removal drum and oil collection drum. Waste sludge or oil is manually removed on a regular basis when full. The entire equipment has good sealing properties and does not produce any odors.
