Grease traps can remove the vast majority of oil and residue, significantly reducing the treatment load of wastewater treatment plants and lowering the maintenance costs of the urban wastewater pipeline network. Our stainless steel grease traps are general-purpose grease purification tanks developed and produced specifically for restaurants, cafes, and canteens. They utilize the gravity-driven separation of oil and water by density difference, naturally floating and separating the floating oil and fine dispersed oil from the wastewater. The grease equipment intercepts most of the sedimentation, preventing pipeline blockages and ensuring the smooth operation of the pipeline network. The grease equipment is suitable for kitchen oil and wastewater discharge areas in hotels, restaurants, canteens, and other similar facilities.

Technical Principle

The HRPGY series stainless steel grease interceptor utilizes the gravity-driven separation of oil污水, taking advantage of the difference in specific gravity between oil and water, to naturally float and separate the floating oil and some fine dispersed oil from the wastewater.

The product is mainly composed of three units:

1. When kitchen drain flows into a unit, the stainless steel filter frame intercepts and removes solid debris.

2. After entering the second unit via the inclined pipe, oil and water are separated by utilizing the difference in oil-water density.

3. Wastewater flows downward along the oil inclined tube and is purified and discharged from the physical device after entering the three-unit section.

The oil globules in the second unit accumulate and float upwards along the oil-separation inclined pipes, remaining on the surface of the separator tank and manually removed. The separator tank's stainless steel filter mesh has excellent grid functionality, effectively trapping vegetable渣 and debris, which can be easily skimmed out with a scoop. If there's too much oil on the filter mesh, remove it, rinse with hot water, and replace it. If the thickness of the surface oil in the separator tank exceeds 5 cm based on usage, oil drainage is required. The bottom of the separator tank is equipped with two drain pipes, which are normally closed but can be opened during cleaning to release all water and bottom sludge from the separator tank.
