Shan Sheng Hui is a warm-weather, xerophytic shrub. In Tibet, it is commonly found in scrubland on slopes ranging from 2,800 to 4,400 meters, on sandy and rocky riverbanks, and often appears in large clusters in the Yarlung Zangbo River valley. Shan Sheng Hui can be propagated both by seeds and asexual reproduction.
In the Tibet region, the sand槐 boasts excellent drought resistance, cold tolerance, water resistance, and alkali resistance. It is also an excellent soil and water conservation plant. The sand槐 can withstand high temperatures of up to 29℃ and low temperatures as low as -6℃. In deciduous shrublands, it often forms sand槐 associations, with an average height of no more than 50 centimeters. In deserts, the growth environment for sand槐 is favorable, and the plant's root system is also relatively intact. Due to its excellent soil and water conservation properties, the sand槐 seeds are plump and have vibrant colors, with good cold resistance.
Seedling time: Mid-March to early April in the south, late March to early April in the north. Select smooth root segments, 1-2 years old, with a diameter of 5-10 mm and no signs of diseases or pests, and cut them into 5-7 cm lengths for later use. Make furrows along the ridges, 50 cm apart, 5 cm deep, then lay the root segments flat in the furrows at a spacing of 30 cm. Cover with fine sand and soil, water thoroughly to set the roots, cover with plastic film, and the seedlings should emerge within about a month.
Deciduous shrub with many branches. Canopy height not exceeding 50 cm, small branches densely covered with soft hair, apex with hard thorns, leaflets 11-17, ovate-oblong, nearly leathery, both sides covered with gray soft hair, 0.6-1.3 cm long; racemose inflorescence short, terminal on lateral branches, corolla blue, standard petal ovate-oblong or oblong, slightly notched at the apex, wing petal ovate-oblong; stamens united 1/2-1/3, fruit slender, densely covered with soft hair, dehiscent. Flowering period May-June.
Mimosa tree has excellent resistance and strong water retention capabilities. It is known for its high drought resistance, wind resistance, sand prevention, alkali resistance, and salt resistance. It also boasts good drought resistance, cold resistance, alkali resistance, and salt resistance.
