Sow Testing Station Determination Principle
The Yangzhou Muxin intelligent boar breeding system utilizes RFID passive electronic ear tags for identity recognition, identifying each individual pig entering the station and dynamically measuring and recording their feeding process continuously. Each measuring pen in the system is equipped with a measuring station, which can accommodate 12 to 15 pigs for testing. Upon entering the measuring station for feeding, the station immediately identifies the electronic ear tag number of the breeding boar. The station then establishes a measuring record for each individual based on the ear tag. After the feeding process is completed, the system automatically calculates, records, and measures the time of entry and exit to the station, as well as the amount of feed consumed. Simultaneously, the pig stands on an individual weight scale, which records the pig's weight during feeding. According to pig habits, each breeding pig is sorted by grade and enters the station for feeding approximately 12 to 15 times a day. The system automatically accumulates the amount of feed consumed by each pig each time, forming the daily feed intake, and updates the database. The weight data obtained from each pig's daily monitoring is computer-summarized and analyzed to calculate the daily weight of the breeding pig, which serves as the data basis for calculating daily weight gain and feed conversion.
