Principles of Breeding Pig Testing Station
The Yangzhou MuXin intelligent pig breeding system utilizes RFID radio frequency passive electronic ear tags for individual identification of pigs entering the station, and dynamically and continuously measures and records their feeding process. Each measurement pen in the system is equipped with a measurement station, which can accommodate 12 to 15 pigs for testing. Upon entering the measurement station to feed, the station immediately identifies the electronic ear tag number of the test boar. Based on the ear tag, the station establishes a measurement record for each individual. Upon completion of the feeding process, the system automatically calculates, records, and measures the time of entry and exit from the station, as well as the feed intake. While the pigs are feeding, they stand on individual weighing scales, which record their weight at the time of feeding. According to the pig's habits, each test boar enters the station for feeding approximately 12 to 15 times per day, sorted by grade. The system automatically accumulates the feed intake for each feeding and updates the database. The data obtained from the computer's summary and analysis of the weight of each pig each day is used as the daily weight of the test boar, serving as the data basis for calculating daily weight gain and feed conversion.
