Thermal Deaerator
I. Purpose of Thermal Deaerator:
The thermal deaerator is a device used to remove oxygen from the boiler water, protecting the boiler from oxygen corrosion.
Compared to the spray plate-type thermal deaerator, the following advantages are present:
With the same output, membrane deoxygenators are smaller in size and lighter in weight, reducing costs.
Wide output range, with stable deoxygenation efficiency.
Wide adaptation to water temperature, such as the oxygen content of the water meets requirements even at room temperature.
Short startup to operation time.
The thermal deaerator heats the boiler feed water to the saturation temperature at the corresponding deaerator working pressure, removing oxygen and other gases dissolved in the feed water, and preventing and reducing corrosion in the boiler feed water pipes, economizers, and other auxiliary equipment.
The thermal deaerator has been proven to have the following advantages after being operated in hundreds of power plants:
High deoxygenation efficiency.
2: Stable operation with no vibration. Even during a 25% sudden load change, a 10% sudden water replenishment, and a drop in water temperature, the deaerator remains vibration-free and there is no boiling.
3: In addition to its excellent adaptability, not being stringent in water quality and temperature requirements, it can operate at about 50% over capacity. This is especially true for heating units and deaerators with slide pressure operation, which highlight its superior performance.
4: Steam exhaust volume less than 0.1% of the inlet water volume; no additional exhaust cooler is required. Consumes 1/3 less energy than other types of deaerators with the same output, optimizing the equipment and reducing heat consumption.
