Product Introduction:
Spray drying is a widely used process in the liquid forming and drying industry. It is suitable for producing powdered and granular solid products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pumpable paste-like liquid raw materials. Therefore, when the particle size distribution, residual water content, bulk density, and particle shape of the finished product must meet certain standards, spray drying is an ideal process.
Operating Principle:
Air is filtered and heated, then enters the top air distributor of the drier where it spirals in a uniform manner into the drying chamber. The liquid material is sprayed into extremely fine mist droplets by the high-speed centrifugal atomizer (rotating) at the top of the tower, where it is in parallel contact with the hot air. The product is dried into a finished form in a very short time. The finished product is continuously discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and the exhaust gas from the cyclone separator is exhausted by the fan.
Working Principle:
1. Fast drying speed; the liquid is atomized to greatly increase its surface area in the hot air stream, allowing for the evaporation of 95% to 98% moisture content in an instant. The drying process takes only a few seconds, making it particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
2. The product exhibits excellent uniformity, fluidity, and solubility with a high purity and good quality.
3. Simplified production process with easy operation control. Liquids with moisture content of 40-60% (special materials up to 90%) can be dried into powder particles in one step, without the need for crushing or sieving. Reduces production steps, improves product purity, and it's convenient to adjust and control particle size, bulk density, and moisture within a certain range by changing operating conditions.
