Application Range:
The single-cone double-helix cone mixer is widely used in various industries such as chemical, metallurgy, food, pharmaceuticals, chemical fertilizers, coatings, pigments, dyes, pesticides, rubber feed, additives, refractory materials, fine chemicals, new materials, electronic plastics, ceramics, mining, and building materials. This mixer is highly adaptable to different materials, capable of mixing powders, granular materials, pastes, or viscous substances, and can be equipped with a liquid spray system. It can be designed to operate under vacuum, pressure, heating, or cooling conditions according to customer requirements, meeting various mixing and stirring needs under different process conditions. It does not overheat heat-sensitive materials, does not crush granular materials, and does not cause stratification and separation when mixing materials with greatly different specific gravities and particle sizes. It also has good adaptability to mixing coarse, fine, ultra-fine particles, fibers, or sheet-like materials.
Operating Principle:
The rapid self-rotation of the two asymmetric screws within the mixer's barrel elevates the material, creating two non-symmetric helical streams along the筒wall from bottom to top. The orbital motion of the spiral driven by the arm allows varying amounts of material outside the spiral to enter the helical envelope, with some material being displaced upwards and others ejected from the spiral. This results in a continuous renewal and diffusion of material around the circular circumference. The two streams of material rising to the top converge into a central depression, forming a downward flow that fills the bottom void, thus establishing a convection cycle. Due to the combined motion, the material achieves uniform mixing in a short time with high precision.
Structural Features:
1. Transmission section: The movement of the self-rotating and orbiting motors is adjusted to a reasonable speed through worm gears and gears, and then transmitted to the helix to achieve both self-rotating and orbiting motions.
2. Cylinder Cap Section: The cylinder cap supports the entire transmission part, which is secured to the cylinder cap using screws. The cylinder cap is equipped with a feeding opening, observation port, cleaning opening, and maintenance hole.
3. Spiral Section: The two asymmetrically arranged spirals within the cylinder, performing both self and planetary rotations, effectively tumble the material over a wide range, leading to rapid and uniform mixing.
4. Cylinder Section: The cylinder is in a conical structure, used for conveying materials, ensuring quick, clean discharge with no material accumulation and no dead corners.
5. Discharge Valve: The discharge valve is installed at the bottom of the cylinder and is used for controlling the material and discharging. This valve is available in three structural forms: manual, pneumatic, and electric. Liquid discharge valves (slurry valves) can be added according to customer requirements.
