Principle of Operation:

Dilute Diffusion Method

Principle: Odorous gases are emitted into the atmosphere through chimneys or diluted with odorless air to reduce the concentration of malodorous substances and minimize odor. Application: Suitable for treating malodorous gases with medium to low concentrations from organized emissions. Advantages: Low cost, simple equipment. Disadvantages: Prone to weather conditions, malodorous substances still persist.

Water Absorption Method

Principle: Utilizes the property of certain substances in odors being easily soluble in water, allowing the odor components to directly contact water and dissolve, thereby achieving deodorization. Application Range: Malodorous gases from water-soluble, organized emission sources. Advantages: Simple process, easy management, low operation costs for equipment. Disadvantages: Low purification efficiency, should be used in conjunction with other technologies; poor treatment effect on thiols, fatty acids, etc. Treatment of the washing liquid is required to prevent secondary pollution.

Aeration Odor Removal Method

Principle: Odorous substances are dispersed in the mixed liquid containing activated sludge in the form of aeration, and are degraded by microorganisms growing by suspension. Wide application range. Advantages: After conditioning, the activated sludge can remove odorous components not exceeding the load capacity with a removal rate of over 99.5%. Disadvantages: Limited by the aeration intensity, the application of this method has certain restrictions.

Catalytic Oxidation Process

Principle: The reaction tower is filled with specially designed solid packing material, which contains a composite of multi-media catalysts. As the malodorous gas passes through the packing layer under the action of a blower, it is fully contacted with the liquid phase composite oxidant sprayed in a diffused mist pattern through special nozzles on the surface of the solid packing material. Under the catalytic action of the multi-media catalyst, the pollution factors in the malodorous gas are fully decomposed. Application Range: Broadly applicable, particularly suitable for treating large volumes of medium to high concentration waste gases, with excellent removal rates for hydrophobic pollutants. Advantages: Small footprint, low investment, and low operating costs; easy management, ready to use upon opening. Disadvantages: Not easily affected by shock loads, changes in pollutant concentration, or temperature variations.

Low-temperature plasma

Low-temperature plasma is the fourth state of matter after solid, liquid, and gas. When the applied voltage reaches the ignition voltage of the gas, the gas molecules are ionized, forming a mixture including electrons, various ions, atoms, and free radicals. During the discharge process, although the electron temperature is high, the heavy particle temperature is low, resulting in the entire system being in a low-temperature state, hence the name low-temperature plasma. The degradation of pollutants by low-temperature plasma utilizes these high-energy electrons, free radicals, and other active particles to react with pollutants in the exhaust gas, causing the pollutant molecules to decompose rapidly and undergo subsequent reactions to achieve the goal of degrading pollutants.

Low-temperature plasma air purification equipment can effectively treat pollutants such as VOCs, malodorous gases, odor gases, oil smoke, and dust, and can also be used for disinfection and sterilization. Low-temperature plasma technology is a completely new purification process that requires no additives, produces no wastewater or sludge, and does not cause secondary pollution.
