
Product Introduction
With the development of urban industry, the thermal pipeline and petrochemical pipeline are increasingly being updated, especially in recent years, with many long-distance compensating pipelines and three-dimensional pipelines emerging. These pipelines require numerous fixed supports during installation, leading to high construction costs. Particularly in space pipelines, it is very difficult to set up fixed supports, and in some cases, it's impossible, severely affecting the design and development of the pipeline network. Our company has developed rotating compensators in response to market demand.
The rotary compensator is composed of a reducing elbow, inner sleeve, sealing seat housing, flexible graphite packing, nut bolt spring assembly, and packing cover, complete with corresponding ball bearings. The rotary compensator is made by first molding the sealing material using a press, with the molding density not too dense to maintain plasticity. Then, the packing ring is placed N times (as specified by the product requirements) inside the packing chamber, with some oxidation-retarding components added. It is then re-molded under pressure using an oil press (which exceeds manual wrench technology in both force and uniformity), fusing the packing rings together to increase the packing density, enhance the sealing performance of the packing, and ensure the product remains leak-free for 15-20 years.
Structural Features
Our company utilizes the most advanced and reliable sealing technology along with a dual-combination sealing structure. This product design is rational, featuring a unique structure, zero thrust, excellent sealing, and large compensation capacity, encompassing all characteristics of various compensators. It is widely used in reservoir water intake, water supply, petrochemical, power, metallurgy, textile, and construction industries.
Rotary Compensator: Composed of a rotating inner sleeve, packing cover, flange, guide centering ring, shaped flexible graphite sealing material, sealing pressure ring, sealing seat housing, end connection pipe, bolts, and nuts. This product features no thrust, large compensation capacity, and no leakage.
It should be noted that conventional rotary compensators use variable diameter pipes as interfaces to save costs and facilitate processing. However, variable diameter pipes can generate vortices and flow resistance in the heating network pipelines, affecting the flow velocity, flow rate, and pressure of the pipeline. Moreover, the dimensional and positional tolerances of the interfaces are large, making it difficult to ensure the quality of pipeline welding. Therefore, all thrust rotary compensator series products of our company have changed the variable diameter pipe interfaces to straight pipe interfaces that match the pipeline nominal diameter, fundamentally eliminating these issues and receiving positive feedback from users after use.
Installation Instructions
1. This compensator is specifically designed for pump ship piping. During welding, the pipe joints should be beveled, and after welding, the joints should be inspected according to pressure vessel standards and undergo hydrostatic testing. During the test, the sealing components should be adjusted to ensure no leaks, and the forces on all parts should be consistent, using a torque wrench.
2. Suspended bridge supports are installed according to the design, allowing for lateral pipe displacement through axial expansion. Compensators are typically installed near the suspended bridge supports and guide brackets should be set up on the movable side. Fixed brackets must be installed at pipe bends.
3. The thermal insulation and waterproof structure of the compensator can be the same as the pipeline, but it must not exert any restraint on the expansion pipe.
4. This compensator can be installed at any temperature without the need for pre-tension or pre-pressure. The sleeve will not loosen; simply tighten the pressure bolt if it does.
