Metal Halide Lighting Test
Brief Introduction: Sunlight Simulation Test, also known as Metal Halide Lamp Aging Test. A metal halide lamp is a gas discharge lamp that utilizes metal halides to generate light when electricity is applied. Its spectral energy distribution closely resembles the sunlight received on the Earth's surface, particularly in the infrared region. Typically, the test equipment for this type of light source simulation test is on a larger scale, especially suitable for artificial light aging tests of whole vehicles, automotive parts, and large electrical and electronic equipment. The typical spectral energy distribution is as follows (via simulated outdoor sunlight filter):

Application Fields: Automotive and its accessories, 3D plastic parts, chemicals, electronic products, aerospace products, optoelectronic products, roof components, window frames, and finished products, etc.
Key Equipment: Sunlight Simulation Test Chamber/ Metal Halide Light Aging Test Chamber.
Reference Standards: DIN 75220, IEC 60068-2-5, etc.
Below is one of the commonly used standard conditions.

Case Introduction

Skills & Advantages: Accurate testing requires precise equipment, and our JASD testing utilizes imported German brand sunlight simulation (metal halide lamp) aging equipment. The lab is equipped with boxes of various capacities including 340L, 600L, 1000L, and 3600L, selecting the appropriate box based on sample size to ensure all samples are within the effective illumination area. For post-test evaluations such as color variation, glossiness, and gray card rating, the lab is capable of executing these tasks and can provide comprehensive solutions.
