Aggregate Impact Test
Brief Introduction:
The aggregate impact test is conducted on an aggregate impact tester, where a source of gas at a specified pressure is generated internally. This then propels a large number of small, sharp-edged steel balls or aggregates to strike the coating of the components within a short time frame, producing a specified energy impact force to evaluate the condition of the coated part after impact. The characteristics of this test are: 1. Short duration, typically completed in a matter of seconds to several tens of seconds; 2. High energy due to the high pressure of the gas source, resulting in a significant impact force from the stones or steel balls; 3. Strong simulation, as the test requires a variety of impact stones, which are divided into different sizes and materials.
Application Fields: Automotive and its accessories, 3D plastic components, interior and exterior coatings and films, electrical parts, etc.
Key Equipment: Aggregate Impact Tester (Aggregate Crushing Test Machine).

Common types of test stones used:
Standard River Pebble, 9.5mm~15.8mm, applicable standards: SAE J400-2012, GMW 14700-2012, ASTM D3170-12, GM 9508P-2010
2. Cold hard cast iron grit, 4mm~5mm, applicable standards: ISO 20567-1:2006, PV 1213-2003, FLTM BI 157-06-2001
3. Crushed granite 6#, 5mm to 13mm, applicable standards: NES M0141-2006, NES M0007-2003
4. Crushed granite 7#, 2.5mm to 5mm, applicable standards: NES M0141-2006, NES M0007-2003
5 Cast Steel Balls, 1.7mm~2.8mm, Applicable Standard: PV 1213-2003
Reference Standards: ISO 20567-1, SAE J400, GMW 14700, PV 1213, NES M0141, NES M0007, ASTM D3170, GM 9508P, FLTM BI 157-06, etc.

Case Introduction:

Capabilities and Advantages:
To accurately perform tests, precise equipment is a must. The JASD testing utilizes the MTG aggregate test machine, which is recognized by many major manufacturers, and is equipped with full-function parameters meeting SAE and VDE standards.
Available in 45° and 90° spray angles, equipped with all the necessary impact consumables as required by the relevant standards. Additionally, the lab has a professional execution team for conducting tests.
For all relevant tests beyond the aggregate impact test, the lab is fully capable of conducting a comprehensive suite of tests, similar to those for VW80000 automotive electrical components.
