Boiler header and fixed header recovery unit application:
Boiler blowdown and condensate recovery units are an environmentally friendly and energy-saving device, belonging to Bond Company's new product line. They can collect the heat from continuous and periodic blowdowns of industrial and power plant boilers, reducing environmental pollution, eliminating exhaust noise, conserving a significant amount of heat, and optimizing the environment.
Section II: Features of Boiler Header and Fixed Drain Recovery Unit
Industrial boilers and power plant boilers with evaporation capacity exceeding 6 tons per hour typically feature continuous blowdown and periodic blowdown systems. The blowdown rate for industrial boilers is approximately 10% of the evaporation capacity, while for power plant condensing units, it is 2%. This indicates a significant heat loss through blowdown. By using continuous and periodic blowdown recovery systems (energy collectors), the heat from blowdown is collected to heat other water. The heated water in the power plant can be condensate, softened water, or raw water. This raises the water temperature to around 80°C, after which the hot water is sent into the heating network for purposes such as make-up water.
Bond Company's boiler economizers and condensate recovery units (energy collectors) are shared equipment for multiple boilers (also used individually). For instance, two 420T/H boilers (equipped with two N100MW steam turbine units) share one recovery unit. After the condensed water is heated, heat can be recovered: Q = 2,095,207 kcal/h, with an annual benefit of 2,095,207 kcal/h × 7,000 h ÷ 7,000 kcal/kg × 800 yuan/ton = 1.68 million yuan. For two 670T/H boilers (equipped with N200MW steam turbine power generation units), the heat recovery for desalinated water amounts to 3,349,987.4 kcal/h, achieving an annual benefit of 2.68 million yuan. This energy collector is a energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment, which not only saves a significant amount of energy but also reduces noise, replacing the noise dampers installed on the original economizers and condensate drains, and optimizing the environment.

Section 3: Working Principle of Boiler Header and Fixed Pipe Recovery Unit
1. Utilize flash steam from a connected, fixed-header expansion vessel to heat and cool water. This energy recovery unit features high heat exchange efficiency, excellent energy-saving effects, stable operation, high heat recovery rate, and complete elimination of exhaust noise. The unit is equipped with a vertical cylinder, with封头separately fitted at the upper and lower parts. The top of the cylinder is equipped with exhaust ports, cooling water inlets, level gauge interfaces, and condensate outlet connections. Inside the cylinder, there is a primary heat exchanger with a "rotating jet atomization nozzle group" and an inlet water chamber. At the bottom is the atomized heat exchange space, where a secondary heat exchanger, the "steam-liquid分流dissipation silencer," is installed. Below the silencer is a third-stage heat exchange device, the "regular heat exchange wire mesh." At the bottom of the third-stage device, there are connections for the continuous and fixed-header exhaust gas outlets, which are termed a "distributor."
2. The condensate from the boiler header and fixed drain is directly fed into the heat recovery unit. Since the cold water temperature is at normal or slightly above normal, the effluent can be cooled to a lower temperature, recovering most (70%-90%) of the heat loss. Thanks to the innovative heat exchange method, this product boasts a high heat exchange coefficient, compact structure, easy installation, reliable operation, and high-quality water after recovery, as well as the advantage of replacing the header and fixed drain expansion vessel.
